Rules & Regs

Beverage Guidelines

The existing licensing at Dogpatch WineWorks only permits the service of beer and wine. No hard alcohol is permitted under any circumstances. As Dogpatch WineWorks is a collective tasting room, clients may choose from our internal wine list for event needs. We allow champagne, sparkling wine and beer upon request, however no outside still wines may be served. We require a Tasting Room staff member to pour wine at events. Each server is billed at $30 an hour in addition to the venue fee.

Deposit

Dogpatch WineWorks requires a deposit of 50% of the venue fee to hold an event date with balance required 7 days before the event date. A separate $500 security deposit may be held by credit card at the time of booking. The security deposit may be held if a client does not complete proper breakdown after an event or there has been damage to the facility, equipment or furniture.  Some events may require advance payment of staffing and/or catering to secure the date.  Our cleaning fee is $100.00 per event day.

Cancellations

If an event is cancelled, the client forfeits the entire fee unless the venue is re-rented for the same day, in which case the fee will be refunded with Dogpatch WineWorks retaining a $500 administrative fee. 

Capacity

Dogpatch WineWorks has a flexible floor plan that can accommodate small groups to large parties or gatherings. Our capacity is 300 for a standing reception and 200 for a seated event. 

Security

Security is required for all evening events. This is arranged through our in house security team at $45 per hour.

Vendors

Clients using outside vendors must furnish proof of insurance and workers compensation thirty days prior to an event date. Site visits are required with outside vendors/planners with clients present. All installation and decor decisions, including candles and unsecured objects must be reviewed and approved by our in-house event planner.  No confetti, glitter, rice, grains or hay.

Dog Policy

This is the Dogpatch!  We are dog friendly as long as your dog is friendly.  All dogs must be hygienic and under control at all times.  Dogs are not allowed on the bar, furniture or tables.  Bringing pets to private events is respectfully discouraged.

Additional Information

Events must end due to noise ordinances by 12:00 AM and noise levels reduced at 11:00 PM. As we are a working winery and tasting room, early or late night equipment deliveries may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Dogpatch WineWorks accepts no responsibility for storage. Additional management fees may apply.
